The Dave Elman Induction is a hypnotic process developed by Dave Elman. This technique is famous for its method called pyramiding. It is a process where you stack several hypnotic inductions - one on top of the other - to provide multiple hypnotic experiences within three to four minutes to get a desired result.

In this episode, I’m going to share how to troubleshoot the Dave Elman Induction and explain how I do it inside my hypnotic sessions. I discuss the different phases of the technique as well as share actionable strategies you can use during your hypnotic sessions. I also share how other hypnotists dilute this process; thus, making it ineffective and the client experience less satisfactory.

“There are no resistant clients. There are only inflexible practitioners.“

  • Why it’s important to know the right words in the correct order when doing this method
  • What fractionation is
  • What could go wrong with fractionation
  • Why client compliance is significant to execute hypnotic suggestions effectively
  • How to make the fourth phase a hypnotic phenomenon
  • A few nuances of the language I use in the Dave Elman Induction
  • How to negate troubleshooting in advance
  • How other hypnotists make the process less effective
  • Elements included in hypnotic suggestions

Steps to the Dave Elman Induction:

  1. Small Muscle Catalepsy
  2. Brief Deepening
  3. Fractionation
  4. Large Muscle Catalepsy
  5. Amnesia by Suggestion
  6. Deepening Throughout
