Debbie joins me today to discuss hypnotic blueprints. She shares why you should not look at the clients as the one problem that brought them to see you but at the entire ecosystem of their life, relationships, habits, and behaviors. She describes how to use the client’s strengths and genuinely have the client designing the process with you. Debbie reveals how to create a framework in such a way that it writes the client’s entire story, ensures participation, sells the value, and gets the client onboard. She shares why you need to navigate clients away from what they don’t want towards what they do want. Debbie also reveals the eight steps of her hypnotic blueprint, the questions she asks, and how to use the blueprint in the hypnotic work you do.

“The blueprint serves as the suggestion base. Everything they tell me, everything I say back to them in the hypnosis, all comes off the blueprint.” - Debbie Taylor

  • How Debbie explains the conscious, subconscious, and hypnosis to the client
  • What to base your pre-talk on and how to explain the Law of Attraction to the client
  • How Debbie has prioritized and modified the NLP Outcome Frame to create her Law of Attraction framework
  • Why you should explore what was going on when the client’s habit was formed and the purpose and value associated with it at that time
  • The steps in Debbie’s hypnotic blueprint
  • How to transition from the pre-talk into the formal hypnosis work
  • How to use the hypnotic blueprint

The work smart philosophy around different hypnotic techniques that we use with our clients to produce change is one of: ‘all these techniques work; you just have to use them.’ It is one that all comes down to the artistry, application, and customization of how we take these techniques to bend and morph them to fit with the client that happens to be in front of you on that particular day. The client may have been to another hypnotist and it did not go as expected, so you need to refocus the client to their goals to create a beneficial experience and move forward.

This week's episode is all about regress to success. I explore hypnotic age regression and offer several definitions, from the purists' view of repressed memories to the concept of hypnotic suggestions creating positive or remembered hallucinations. I share how you can figure out what is great about your client and how we can harness that and put it to use. I reveal why and how you should condition your client to hear the technique and create a hypnotic contract. I share what sensory anchors are and reveal three positive life experiences you can use and bond to a success trigger. I also discuss how to phrase the notion that the technique will be required less as the client experiences more success.

“Emotion is the language of the unconscious mind.” - Jason Linett

  • The theories behind the different concepts of hypnotic age regression
  • Why you should reframe your pretalk from what isn’t going to happen to what is going to happen
  • How to explain the regress
  • Building the success trigger roadmap and how to create anchors and sensory-language bridging techniques
  • How to leverage positive life experience states to anchor empowered states of mind, centered on education, physical ability, and creativity
  • Morphing your language to the client’s desired outcome state
  • How to build a case with the client that the technique will become less necessary long-term

Craig joins me today to share how you can create successful outcomes through the freedom of hypnosis. He shares how to work within your client’s model of the world, beliefs, faith, perceptions, and spiritual modes of thinking. Craig discusses shifting the client’s perceptions to be open to new things and new avenues to explore. He describes how you and the client can use the safety of hypnosis to explore new experiences. He shares why it is vital to run loops of action sets, attach an idea to an action, and specify the cause and effect relationships. Craig also reveals the four steps of placing the client in the result to set the change in motion.

“The power is in the perception, primarily, because that is what’s informing what we will do or not do to actually change those things externally or in our environment.” - Craig Mackay

  • How different belief systems, perceptions, faiths, and spiritual modes of thinking have the same core elements
  • Working within the client’s framework of the world and the questions to ask before the “formal hypnosis” begins
  • Using hypnosis to set new reference points in the mind to imagine freely what new experiences would be like
  • The different marketing activities where Craig has found success
  • Giving the client tools and skill sets to change their future emotional states beyond the outcomes they desire now
  • Using the three components of challenges to achieve an outcome
  • Accepting constant growth and changing the way you do things

Karen joins me to discuss how to empower your belief system. She shares how the pandemic affected her career and why she adapted to the situation faster than most hypnotists. She discusses her belief system and why any belief system can work if you’ve been practicing it for a long time. She describes why scriptless hypnosis is the future and why overpreparation is counterintuitive. Karen also discusses the differences between accidental hypnosis and hypnosis on purpose, and why she believes we’re all living in a trance state.

“When clients start thinking a different thought, they start believing a different thing.” - Karen Hand

  • Why the skill necessary to run a business are left out of training
  • The three-part interaction that always happens in your business
  • Why Karen was more prepared when the pandemic began than most hypnotists
  • How Zoom ended up being Karen's preferred meeting app

  • Why a client's beliefs are easy to change
  • Concrete examples of accidental hypnosis
